FFAS Elder Care Program and Support Group for Caregivers

FFAS is "Working with Caregivers" to help them balance work demands with the responsibilities of caring for aging family members. We plan for the future (i.e., seminars, workshops and other activities) in order to help you balance work and family and maintain good health and well-being.

Headquarters established a support group November 2003. Members learn from each other and receive the emotional support of knowing that you are not alone

The FFAS Caregivers Support Group in WDC normally meets the first Wednesday of the month. To join the headquarters group, contact Juliet McBride by phone at 401-0683, 205-9057 (TTY) or by email at Juliet.McBride@wdc.usda.gov

If you interested in joining a support group at your location, contact your Administrative Office for additional information.
