Farm Service Agency announces new office hours for Calhoun County

Springfield, IL, February 5, 2013—The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Farm Service Agency (FSA) State Executive Director Scherrie Giamanco announced today that effective February 18, 2013, the Calhoun County FSA Office will incorporate new office hours.

The new office hours are only applicable to the Farm Service Agency and do not affect any other agency that may be collocated in the USDA Service Center.
Effective February 18, 2013, the Calhoun County FSA Office will be open for business only one day per week – Wednesday.

Calhoun County FSA customers are highly encouraged to take this opportunity to transfer farms to an adjacent county office and continue the benefit of receiving service 5 days per week. FSA customers may continue to conduct business in the Calhoun County FSA Office, however, it is important to note that with the reduced office hours, it may be necessary to schedule appointments and additional delays can be expected.

To initiate the farm transfer process, please contact either the Calhoun County Office at (618) 576-2717 or the applicable county office that you wish to transfer your farm(s) to.
