Montana FSA: Montana agricultural producers reminded of upcoming FSA deadlines

Deadline for Marketing Assistance Loans & LDPs on 2012 wool shorn is Jan. 31

BOZEMAN, Mont., Jan. 17, 2013 - USDA Farm Service Agency State Executive Director Bruce Nelson reminds Montana agricultural producers of the Jan. 31st deadline to apply for Marketing Assistance Loans (MALs) and Loan Deficiency Payments (LDPs) on wool shorn from the 2012 crop year.

Interested producers are asked to contact FSA county offices right away to allow county offices time to process the loan and prepare the loan documents.
