Livestock Producer Says CRP Helped Him Achieve Goal

"With the help of the CRP and all involved with it, I have been able to proceed on a fast track plan to achieve my goal in the farm industry," said Rhode Island livestock producer Richard Santis. "CRP has worked with me hand in hand in creating a successful stream crossing and limiting drinking water access for livestock. With their assistance, I have been able to utilize my land to the fullest extent by fencing pastures to keep livestock out of streams."

Observed Richard, "I would have never understood the importance of rotating livestock between pastures to make the most of my land."

"I'd like to thank everyone involved with this wonderful program for helping me make my farm run smoothly and more efficiently than ever before. Without their help, I would have continued to struggle with the day to day troubles farmers face on a consistent basis," he said.

"They have all gone above and beyond to ease the burden of difficulties farmers routinely face. I am now beginning to see a major difference with the production and growth of my farm. Their dedication, knowledge, and compassion for those of us in this tough industry are nothing less than amazing," Richard concluded appreciatively.
