2013 CRP Emergency Grazing Ends Feb. 28th

 
(COLLEGE STATION, TX), January 31, 2013 -USDA Texas Farm Service Agency (FSA) Acting Executive Director James B. Douglass, announced that the 2013 Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) emergency grazing deadline is February 28, 2013.

 
"Producers who took advantage of the emergency grazing provisions must remove all livestock from CRP acres by the Feb. 28th deadline," said Douglass. "Producers must report the actual acreage grazed to their local FSA office as soon as possible," he said.

 
There will be a 25 percent CRP payment reduction for CRP acres used for grazing under these emergency provisions.
