(MADISON, WISCONSIN), October 26, 2009 - USDA's Farm Service Agency (FSA) Wisconsin State Executive Director, Brad Pfaff, recognizes the following lenders for their service to Wisconsin farmers. In 2009, these lenders were the leading participants of the FSA Loan Guarantee Program, providing financial tools to their rural customers.

"The FSA Loan Guarantee is a very valuable tool for lenders to use for beginning farm operations, growth opportunities, and farm transfers," said Pfaff. "It also aids farmers during the stressful economic times that we are currently encountering."
Pfaff would like to thank participating lenders and all the agricultural lenders in Wisconsin who are working with Wisconsin farmers during this economic time.
