Augusta, February 25, 2013 - The Kennebec-Knox-Lincoln County Committee met on February 19, 2013 to redefine the Local Administrative Areas (LAA) they serve and represent. The public is encouraged to submit written comment. Comments must be received by March 12, 2013.

The proposed LAA's are as follows:

LAA 1: Clinton, Benton, Unity Township, Albion, China, and Vassalboro

LAA 2: Fayette, Readfield, Mount Vernon, Vienna, Belgrade, Rome, Sidney, Oakland, Waterville, and Winslow

LAA 3: Wayne, Winthrop, Manchester, Monmouth, West Gardiner, Gardiner, Farmingdale, Hallowell, Randolph, Chelsea, Augusta, Windsor, and Litchfield

LAA 4: Alna, Bremen, Dresden, Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor, Bristol, Darmariscotta, Edgecomb, Somerville, South Bristol, Southport, Westport, Whitefield, and Wiscasset

LAA 5: Appleton, Camden, Criehaven, Cushing, Friendship, Hiberts Gore, Hope, Isle Au Haut, Matinicus, South Thomaston, Thomaston, Union, Vinalhaven, Warren, Washington, and Waldoboro
