Developers should follow the procedures posted on the
Testing and Certification Office Acceptance Test Procedures page when working with the Testing Center Organization (TCO). Included on the TCO site is information on establishing staging folders, a submission checklist and instructions for completing a KC-287.
When an application is delivered to TCO, a
Build Plan is required. The first deployment is a "test" of the accuracy and completeness of this guide. The deployment guide should include all information needed to deploy and configure the system, as well as how to verify the deployment is complete (for example, how to access and use the diagnostic servlet for the system). Development teams should work closely with the TCO system administrators to ensure the accuracy of the guide.
Establishing a working relationship with the TCO system administrators is one key to successfully having an application certified by TCO. To help establish this relationship, each development team should indicate the primary contact for the system that should be contacted if any additional support (post-deployment) is needed.
