Governance

Scope

Effective management of information is important for FSA to effectively fulfill its mission. The intent of governance is to identify the governance groups that may be required to support the enterprise architecture; work with existing groups to determine responsibilities and roles; determine decision authority across governance bodies. Using this as a foundation will align governance objectives which support the overall enterprise-wide.

Expected Value

Well enabled governance that includes appropriate decision making, reduces ambiguity, improves communication, facilitates relationships with stakeholders, and users of EA artifacts

By End of 4th Quarter, 2008

Establish an Enterprise Architecture Change Control Board (CCB) for FSA. Identify the stakeholders needed, clearly define roles and responsibilities of these stakeholders, and establish final decision making authority.
