Perform the activities according to the project plan and obtain approval of the deliverables. The formal kickoff meeting will take place in this group followed by the execution of the project plan. Project progress should be tracked, all risks should be closely monitored, and strong lines of communication should be maintained between the team and all interested stakeholders. This is the process group where the bulk of the work is completed, so it is important that the progress of the project is closely managed and all changes are quickly identified and controlled.
