(BCAP)

 
Biomass Crop Assistance Program (BCAP) provides financial assistance to producers or entities that deliver eligible biomass material to designated biomass conversion facilities for use as heat, power, biobased products or biofuels. Initial assistance will be for the collection, harvest, storage and transportation costs associated with the delivery of eligible materials.

 
FSA is moving forward with rulemaking to fully implement BCAP. Please check FSA's BCAP website regularly for factsheets, application documents and updates. A list of participating facilities will be added in the coming weeks.

 
Looking to become a qualified Biomass Conversion Facility (BCF) for the BCAP program? Documents will soon be made available for you to apply. Watch the BCAP website for the BCF Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

Qualified Biomass Conversion Facilities in New Hampshire

 
The following biomass conversion facilities have become qualified in New Hampshire under the Biomass Crop Assistance Program (BCAP).

  • New England Wood Pellet, LLC - Jaffrey
  • Springfield Power, LLC
  • DG Whitefield, LLC
  • Pinetree Power, Inc

The Farm Service Agency provides assistance for natural disaster losses, resulting from drought, flood, fire, freeze, tornadoes, pest infestation, and other calamities.

(NAP)

 
FSA's Noninsured Crop Disaster Assistance Program (NAP) provides financial assistance to producers of noninsurable crops when low yields, loss of inventory, or prevented planting occurs due to a natural disaster.

(CRP)

 
FSA's Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) is a voluntary program available to agricultural producers to help them safeguard environmentally sensitive land. Producers enrolled in CRP plant long term, resource conserving covers to improve the quality of water, control soil erosion, and enhance wildlife habitat. In return, FSA provides participants with rental payments and cost share assistance.
