Solicitations to purchase commodities are issued monthly to approved commodity suppliers and steamship lines. For solicitations issued after April 1, 2011, bids are entered through the
Web Based Supply Chain Management System (WBSCM) competing at the lowest landed cost (commodity and freight). These solicitations (and amendments) are available on the
WBSCM Public Procurement Page by selecting the appropriate purchasing group and the year/month combinations.
The Purchase Contract Awards (PCA's) list the commodities purchased for international distribution for each solicitation issued. The PCA's for solicitations issued after April 1, 2011 are also available on the
WBSCM Public Procurement Page.
Prior to April 1, 2011, bids were entered through the
Commodity Operations System (COS) competing at the lowest landed cost (commodity and freight). These
solicitations (and amendments) are available in
COS by clicking on the Public Information button.

The
2013 Annual International Procurement Schedule shows the intended offer dates, purchase dates, deadlines for submissions and delivery periods for the Calendar year of January 1 through December 31, 2013.
