When completing draft environmental assessments (EA) and environmental impact statements (EIS), FSA will post copies of these documents for public review and comments. Final EA and EIS documents will also be posted for public review for a period of time along with any Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) and Record of Decision (ROD).

Biomass Crop Assistance Program

 

 
  • The United States Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency (FSA) on behalf of the Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) has issued a Mitigated Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) and Final Environmental Assessment (EA) for the proposed establishment and production of a particular species of giant miscanthus and switch grass as dedicated energy crops for energy production to be grown in the Chemtex Inc. (Project Sponsor) proposed project area in North Carolina under the Biomass Crop Assistance Program (BCAP).

The United States Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency (FSA) on behalf of the Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) has published a FINAL Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for Minn-Dak Sugar Program Loan for Storage Tanks in North Dakota.

 
The United States Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency (FSA) on behalf of the Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) has issued a Mitigated Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) and Final Programmatic Environmental Assessment (PEA) (PDF 2.12 MB) associated with authorizing emergency haying and grazing of CRP conservation practices (CP8a, 23, 23a, 27, 28, 37, and 41) and emergency haying on CP25 as a means to alleviate local impacts occurring to farmers and ranchers as a result of the extreme drought and high temperatures this year.
