Aquaculture producers suffered severe losses relating to high feed input costs during the 2008 calendar year. USDA is implementing recovery efforts through ARRA.

Addendum to FSA Aquaculture Recovery Plan 06/16/10

On June 2, 2009, the Notice of Funds Availability (NOFA) for the 2008 Aquaculture Grant Program was published in the Federal Register. View a PDF of the Notice.

Grant funding to a State is contingent on the execution of a grant Agreement between CCC and the State. The grant agreement provides the final program provisions for program implementation. View an example of the grant agreement and cover letter (PDF 732 KB)

Grant funding to a State is contingent upon the Farm Service Agency's approval of the State 2008 AGP work plan. State Departments of Agriculture have been instructed to submit their work plans to FSA as soon as possible. View an approved work plan for implementing the program via cash to producers (PDF 1.08 MB).
