HDR1010500200001117091700KCCO DAIRY RSCS2 INV 004 SALE OF CCC-OWNED NONFAT DRY MILK FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF CASEIN OR CASEINATE, INVITATION 004 TO ANNOUNCEMENT RSCS2 - Date November 17, 2009. _______________________________________________________________________________ The Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) invites competitive offers, subject to the terms and conditions of Announcement RSCS2 and this Invitation, to buy from CCC up to approximately 1,000,000 pounds of Nonfat Dry Milk (NDM), packed in 25-KG bags only for the manufacture of edible dry acid or rennet casein or dry caseinate (casein or caseinate). The CCC-owned NDM herein offered for sale was acquired under the Dairy Product Price Support Program under the specifications of Announcement Dairy-6. All successful offerors are required to have completed a field test for converting NDM into casein or caseinate and submitted all written reports to CCC prior to being allowed full performance of the contract. For offerors that have not completed a field test that are awarded NDM, CCC will only release two truckloads of NDM for the purpose of performing a field test. Offeror must successfully convert the NDM into casein or caseinate and submit the written field test reports within 60 days following the date of contract before the balance of NDM awarded is released to the contractor. The NDM will be sold basis "where is, as is", delivered in-store at the point(s) of storage. CCC shall be responsible for any storage charges accruing up to and including the fifth business day following the date of issuance of the Notice to Deliver or until the NDM is loaded out, which ever is earlier. Any storage, handling, or other warehouse charges accruing thereafter shall be for the account of the Contractor. Notwithstanding the foregoing, any prepaid warehouse charges, including loading-out charges, on any lot of the NDM delivered to the Contractor shall accrue to the benefit of the Contractor. Floor loadout handling may be extra cost and shall be for the account of the contractor.
