Greeting from
State Executive Director
Sandra D. Adams

It is an enormous pleasure to serve the farmers and producers of Massachusetts as an appointee of President George W. Bush. The State Executive Director oversees farm programs which are designed by Congress to help farmers manage market risk. There are several key programs that serve to provide a safety net, including marketing loans, direct payments and countercyclical payments. In addition, the NAP Program (Noninsured Crop Disaster Assistance Program) reacts quickly to help farmers recover their noninsurable crop losses.

Recently extreme wet weather and flooding in the entire Northeast has farmers projecting a gloomy forecast. Our recent Presidential Disaster provides for low interest loans to farmers who are at risk.

Our seven County Offices provide convenient locations throughout the state for farmers to sign up for Farm Service Agency Programs.
