The Nevada Farm Service Agency is committed to serving Nevada and its agricultural producers. Our highest priority is to work with the state farmers and ranchers who provide the food and fiber our nation needs.
Agriculture is a proud tradition in Nevada. When you think of Nevada, agriculture may not be the first industry that comes to mind. But the glow of Las Vegas and Reno would not be possible without the contributions of the state producers. Farming and ranching provide a cornerstone to the rural economy of the state and it improves the quality of life in the urban areas.
Farming is concentrated in the state valleys, with vast rangelands and mountains provide grazing for livestock.
We invite you to find out more about the Farm Service Agency by visiting one of our seven offices, and by exploring our website further. If you have suggestions, or need assistance, please feel free to contact us at (775) 784-5411.
Best Wishes! Roger Van Valkenburg Nevada State Executive Director
