Welcome to Texas

On behalf of the Texas Farm Service Agency, welcome to our online services.

John Fuston, Texas SED
"Everything is Bigger in Texas" - That is certainly true for Texas Agriculture. Texas accounts for about 7 percent of the total U.S. agricultural income. Eighty percent of Texas is in some form agricultural production with 92 percent of operations run by individuals or families. Texas leads the nation in numbers of cattle and calves accounting for about 15 percent of the total U.S. production. In addition, Texas is a national leader in the production of cotton, wool, and mohair. Texas producers farm 60 different commercial fruit and vegetable crops.

Our Texas FSA staff of more than 900 employees, works hard every day to ensure that Texas farmers, ranchers and landowners have the information they need to participate in federally funded agricultural programs. FSA-administered programs benefit all Americans by providing stability for our agricultural producers, thus helping ensure a safe, abundant and affordable supply of food and fiber. We invite you to explore our website and learn more about FSA programs and services which are now available 24/7.

Best regards,

John Fuston, State Executive Director
