Scott Biggs was appointed by the Trump Administration to serve as the state executive director of the Oklahoma USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) in November 2017.
Biggs grew up being active in FFA and 4-H in central Indiana. He attended Oklahoma State University and earned a degree in agricultural economics and later earned a law degree from the University of Oklahoma.
He started his career as a loan officer with Rural Enterprises of Oklahoma focusing on small business loans. He went on to work seven years in the district attorney’s office as an assistant district attorney in McIntosh, Grady and Caddo counties. He most recently served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives for five years, where he was assistant majority leader for two years and was assistant floor leader and chairman of criminal judiciary committee.
Throughout his career, he has received numerous accolades, including the Oklahoma Farm Bureau Champion and the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association Legislator of the Year.
Biggs is active with his family’s farm, raising wheat and alfalfa and with their active equine operation. He and his wife, Rosslyn, have two daughters, Maguire and Spencer. He enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and being on the ranch, working with horses.
