USDA Temporarily Restricting In-Person Appointments in Service Centers

Indianapolis, Indiana, November 30, 2020 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is temporarily restricting in-person visits for numerous Service Centers in INDIANA because of elevated rates of coronavirus community spread, but USDA employees will continue to assist agricultural producers with programs and services. 

USDA Designates Suffolk County, New York, as Primary Natural Disaster Areas

This Secretarial natural disaster designation allows the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) to extend much-needed emergency credit to producers recovering from natural disasters through emergency loans. Emergency loans can be used to meet various recovery needs including the replacement of essential items such as equipment or livestock, reorganization of a farming operation or the refinance of certain debts.

WASHINGTON, Oct. 26, 2022 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) launched a new online tool to help farmers and ranchers better navigate the farm loan application process. This uniform application process will help to ensure all farm loan applicants receive equal support and have a consistent customer experience with USDA’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) regardless of their individual circumstances.

El USDA acepta ahora las solicitudes del Programa de Conservación de Emergencia de los productores de Florida en 28 condados

GAINESVILLE, Fla.  28 de octubre de 2022 - El Departamento de Agricultura de los Estados Unidos (USDA, por sus siglas en inglés) está aceptando solicitudes de productores agrícolas para el Programa de Conservación de Emergencia (ECP, por sus siglas en inglés) para hacer frente a los daños del huracán Ian. Las solicitudes deben presentarse antes del 15 de diciembre de 2022.
