Search, review and submit comments on Federal documents that are open for comment and published in the Federal Register. Public participation in rulemaking is a key part of the process.

Code of Federal Regulations (CFR)

The CFR is the codification of the general and permanent rules published in the Federal Register by the executive departments and agencies of the Federal Government. USDA's regulations are found in Title 7 of the CFR. FSA's regulations are in 7 CFR Chapters 7 and 18 and CCC's regulations are at 7 CFR Chapter 14. The CFR is available on-line:

  1. The annual editions of the CFR; and
  2. The electronic CFR which is kept current from day-to-day, but is not an official legal edition of the CFR.
