ARC and PLC - Webinar

This webinar discussed how the Agriculture Risk Coverage and Price Loss Coverage programs work, how to make an election, and what the election options are. Producers are reminded that appointment times to sign up for ARC and PLC are limited. If elections are not submitted and processed by the March 15, 2024 deadline, elections will remain the same as 2023 and producers without a multiyear contract election will forfeit their 2024 payment. Although election changes are optional, producers must enroll through a signed contract each year.

UPDATE: The ELAP form numbers changed on Jan. 24, 2024. Notices of loss are now filed on the CCC-939. Applications for payment are now filed on the CCC-939L for livestock losses, CCC-939F for farm-raised fish losses, and CCC-939H for honeybee losses.

Emergency Revenue Program 2022 - Webinar

The U. S Department of Agriculture (USDA) will provide more than $3 billion to commodity and specialty crop producers impacted by natural disaster events in 2022. Eligible impacted producers can apply for financial assistance through the Emergency Relief Program (ERP) 2022. The program will help offset the financial impacts of crop yield and value losses from qualifying disasters occurring in 2022.


Farm Labor Stabilization and Protection Pilot Program - Webinar

FLSP will award up to $65 million in American Rescue Plan Act funding to provide support for agricultural employers in implementing robust labor standards to promote a safe, healthy work environment for both U.S. workers and workers hired from northern Central American countries under the seasonal H-2A visa program. The program is funded by the Farm Service Agency and will be administered by the Agricultural Marketing Service and the Farm Production and Conservation Business Center.
