About
Connie Conway was appointed by the Trump Administration to serve as the State Executive Director of the USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) in California in May 2025.
Conway returns to FSA where she previously served as the FSA state executive director for California during President Trump’s first term. She recently served as chairman of the World Ag Expo, the largest annual agricultural technological exposition.
Prior to that, she served as a member of Congress in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2022 to 2023 in the 22nd Congressional District where she served on several committees including natural resources, the subcommittee on energy and mineral resources, subcommittee on water, oceans and wildlife, the committee on veteran affairs, and the subcommittee on disability assistance and memorial affairs. Conway was also a California state assemblywoman from 2009 through 2014.
Conway has earned numerous awards throughout her career including being recognized by California’s 33rd Assembly District as the 2024 Woman of the Year.
She attended Fresno State College where she earned 124 non-degree specified units and her teaching certification.
Conway has lived in Tulare County her entire life and has spent her career supporting agriculture and farmers and ranchers. Her son and grandchildren operate a dairy farm in Oregon.
