About
Duncan N. Johnson, Jr. was appointed by the Trump Administration to serve as the state executive director of the USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) in Georgia in May 2025.
Prior to his appointment, Johnson served as the president of Johnson Consulting and Mediation. Before that he spent 28-years as a new car dealer and has an 11-year career as a board member of Georgia Department of Natural Resources. He previously served as a trustee of Leadership Georgia and the Georgia Board of Physicians Workforce, and he is a board member of Camp Lakeside Pediatrics Disabilities Camp.
Johnson actively supports the Community Foundation for the Central Savannah River Area, Camp Lakeside and the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.
Johnson grew up in Augusta, Georgia. He attended Northwood University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in automotive marketing, complemented by studies in English and accounting.
Duncan and his wife live in Augusta and have two adult children. In his spare time, he enjoys bird hunting and fishing.
