FY 2020 Funding Accomplishments:

  • Direct Farm Ownership loan obligations reached a new highest total - $2.0 billion
  • Guaranteed Farm Ownership loan obligations were the highest in Agency history reaching more than $2.9 billion
  • Obligations of Direct and Guaranteed Farm Ownership and Farm Operating loans exceeded FY 2019 and were the highest in Agency history, exceeding $7.5 billion
  • Direct and Guaranteed total loan assistance to Beginning Farmers reached an all-new high in Agency history - $3.4 billion
  • There was no backlog of approved, unfunded loans carried into FY 2021.

  • Obligations of Direct and Guaranteed Farm Ownership and Farm Operating loans exceeded FY 2018 and were the 3rd highest in Agency history, exceeding $5.7 billion
  • Direct and Guaranteed total loan assistance to Beginning Farmers reached an all-new high in Agency history - $2.7 billion
  • There was no backlog of approved, unfunded loans carried into FY 2020.

  • Direct Farm Ownership loan obligations reached $1.1 billion - the highest in Agency history.
  • Guaranteed Farm Ownership loan obligations were the 3rd highest in Agency history, reaching more than $2.1 billion
  • Obligations of Direct and Guaranteed Farm Ownership loans and Operating loans were the 4th highest in Agency history, exceeding $5.4 billion.
  • 3rd highest level of Direct and Guaranteed loan assistance to Beginning Farmers in Agency history.
  • 4th highest level of Direct and Guaranteed loan assistance in Agency history provided to minority and women farmers.
  • There was no backlog of approved, unfunded loans carried into FY 2019.

FY 2017 Funding Accomplishments:

  • Obligations of Direct and Guaranteed Farm Operating and Farm Ownership loan funds were the 2nd highest in Agency history, exceeding $5.9 billion.
  • A new record was set in Direct Farm Ownership loan obligations. Fiscal Year 2017 saw the highest level in Agency history - a whopping $1.04 billion! Even more impressive, FY 2017 represents the 4th consecutive year that a new obligation mark has been established.
  • The 2nd highest level of Guaranteed Farm Ownership obligations in Agency history. FSA guaranteed over $2.2 billion for farmers working with commercial lenders to purchase, improve, and expand their farms and ranches.
  • The 2nd highest level of Direct and Guaranteed loan assistance in Agency history was provided to minority and women farmers.
  • The 2nd highest level of Direct and Guaranteed loan assistance provided to Beginning Farmers in Agency history.
