Construct and Operate Six (6) 54’x600’ Broiler Poultry Houses
Draft Environmental Assessment
U.S. Department of Agriculture, Farm Service Agency (FSA) announces they will be completing an Environmental Assessment for Rocky Mount Farms, LLC located at Meriwether County, Georgia, Gordon County. The primary objective of the activity is to execute the construction and operate six (6) tunnel-ventilated broiler poultry houses and associated infrastructure on a 38.47-acre tract located in rural Meriwether County, Georgia, in the Piedmont physiographic region. Each house will be 54 feet wide by 600 feet long and will be constructed to integrator specifications for modern broiler production.
FSA is accepting comments on the potential effects of the proposed project on protected resources and the human environment.
